The camera cannot use the motion detection function/playback function/recording function/upload video to cloud storage and SD card?

Check for Memory Card or Cloud Storage:

Ensure that you have inserted a memory card into the camera or purchased the Cloud Storage for Videos service.

Formatting the SD Card:

1.If a memory card is inserted, use the app to format the SD card directly.

2.If formatting fails after several attempts, the SD card may not be in FAT32 format. It is recommended to format the SD card to FAT32 on your computer.

3.If the SD card still cannot be recognized, it may be defective. Please replace it with a high-speed SD card that is compatible with the camera.

Note: Using an incompatible SD card may result in poor video quality with noise, and the camera may stop recording due to the memory card overheating.

Recording Settings:

1.After inserting the SD card, navigate to "Storage Settings" in the device settings page and turn on the "Recording Switch." The device will then automatically record video. There are two recording modes: Event Recording and Continuous Recording.

2.After some time, you can click "Playback" on the camera interface to view the recordings stored on the SD card.

3.If your device has purchased cloud storage, you can similarly find "Storage Settings" in the device settings page and turn on the "Recording Switch." The device will then automatically record video, and you can view it in the cloud by clicking "Playback."

Using the "Recording" Function on the Camera Interface:

The "Recording" function on the camera interface does not save videos to the SD card or cloud. Instead, it uses the phone's screen recording feature to record the video from "Playback," and the video is stored locally on your phone.

Troubleshooting Playback Issues:

If the recording in playback is not coherent, it may be due to an unstable network. When network conditions are poor, the camera may stop recording and resume when the network stabilizes.

There may also be a firmware issue with your device. Please provide the virtual ID of the device to our staff so they can push the latest firmware update.
