1.Powering the Camera:

  • Begin by connecting the power adapter to the camera. Insert the USB cable into the camera and plug it into a power outlet.
  • Once powered on, wait for approximately 1 minute. During this time, the camera will rotate and emit a startup sound, indicating that it’s booting up.
  • Look for the indicator light to start flashing blue. This signifies that the camera is ready to be paired.
2.Resetting the Camera (If Necessary):
  • If the indicator light does not flash blue, the camera might need a reset. To do this, press and hold the reset button for 8 seconds until you hear three short beeps.
  • After the reset, the camera will be ready for pairing once the blue indicator light begins flashing again.
3.Preparing Your Phone:
  • Before pairing, ensure that Bluetooth and location services are enabled on your phone. These settings are crucial for a successful connection.
  • Open the app on your phone and select the correct device model to begin the pairing process.
4.Connecting to Wi-Fi:
  • Enter your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network password into the app. The app will then generate a QR code that contains the necessary Wi-Fi information.
  • Hold your phone 6 to 8 inches away from the camera lens, allowing the camera to scan the QR code.
  • You’ll know the camera has successfully scanned the QR code when you hear a voice prompt from the camera.
5.Troubleshooting QR Code Scanning:
  • If the camera doesn’t immediately scan the QR code, try adjusting the position of your phone slightly. A small tilt or frame adjustment can often resolve the issue.
  • Ensure there are no light reflections or high contrast backgrounds that might interfere with the QR code’s readability.

Note: Micro SD card is not included in the camera.

  • Ensure the SD card is formatted to FAT32 and has a maximum capacity of 256GB. Please format the TF card into FAT32 format on your computer via a card reader.

  • Check Recognition: Verify in "Playback" if the SD card is successfully recognized.
    Recording Settings: Check if "Local Recording" are enabled in the camera settings.
  • Reinsert SD Card: Turn off the camera, reinsert the SD card, then power on the camera again.

  • Note: Once the camera's motion tracking is activated, please do not use your hand to rotate the rotating part of the camera. Otherwise, you will need to perform a direction calibration.
