This policy outlines the terms for cancellations, refunds, and service changes related to Symynelec’s cloud storage services.
1. Subscription Types
1.1 General Subscription: Users can purchase a one-time cloud storage plan that requires manual renewal upon expiration. Once purchased, the plan is active for the selected period (e.g., monthly or yearly) and cannot be canceled or refunded after payment is processed.
1.2 Auto-Renewable Subscription: For continuous use, users may enable an auto-renewable subscription through third-party payment platforms like PayPal or Stripe. Auto-renewal ensures service continuity by automatically deducting subscription fees at the end of each cycle (e.g., monthly, yearly).
2. Cancellation of Auto-Renewable Subscription
2.1 User-Initiated Cancellation: Users may cancel the auto-renewal feature at any time via the Symynelec app or by contacting Symynelec at cloud@symynelec.com.
2.2 Cancellation Conditions: Upon canceling auto-renewal, users will continue to have access to the cloud storage service until the current subscription period ends. Once canceled, the subscription will not automatically renew for the next cycle.
2.3 Non-Refundable Period: Symynelec does not offer refunds, cancellations, or substitutions for cloud storage services that have already been successfully paid for and activated. Therefore, users are encouraged to review their subscription preferences before initiating an auto-renewal.
3. Refund Policy for Service Issues
3.1 Inaccessibility After Payment: If a user is unable to access or utilize the cloud storage service following successful payment, they should immediately contact Symynelec customer support for assistance. Symynelec will assist in troubleshooting to ensure service accessibility.
3.2 Refund Eligibility: If Symynelec confirms that the service is inaccessible due to Symynelec’s fault, Symynelec may issue a refund based on the user’s subscription period and usage. Refunds will be provided at Symynelec’s discretion and may not be available for partial months or periods already used.
4. Changes to Service or Pricing
4.1 Price Adjustments: Symynelec reserves the right to modify service content, subscription types, and pricing based on business needs or market conditions. Users will be notified of any price changes through the Symynelec app before renewal payments.
4.2 Effect of Changes: New prices or subscription types will only apply to future purchases or renewals. Users may cancel their subscriptions before renewal if they do not agree with any updated pricing.
5. Abnormal Subscription or Payment Failures
5.1 Payment Issues: In cases where the subscription fee cannot be deducted due to reasons such as third-party payment platform issues, account limitations, or insufficient balance, Symynelec will automatically suspend the cloud storage service. Users must resolve payment issues to continue service.
6. Important Considerations
This cancellation and refund policy applies solely to Symynelec cloud storage services and does not include device or network fees.
